Students in the Central Valley have beautiful and unique stories but lack the resources and guidance on how to structure and write their writing applications. While we do not claim that our workshop can dismantle the unequal playing fields placed upon poor communities and people of color, our workshop can and will provide the guidance, resources, and skills to assist students in writing the best version of their essays. This workshop will show students how to highlight their unique identities, unique stories, and unique experiences in their applications.
