About The Event
Central Valley Scholars cordially invites friends, supporters, and advocates who carry our mission of creating accessible pathways toward higher education to our 2022 Fundraiser. This will be our first in-person fundraising event since the start of the pandemic, and we could not be more excited to share this experience with you all!

During our fundraiser, guests will have the opportunity to meet the leaders of our important work, the scholars we serve, and enjoy live music, entertainment, prizes, and dinner. All profits from this event will go directly toward funding our 2023 programming fund (scholarships, workshops, webinars, Themtorshp Program, Black Youth Empowerment Program, and Community Health Scholars).

Since our founding in 2019, Central Valley Scholars has served thousands of students across the Central Valley, providing vital educational resources missing in our scholars homes and schools. Contributions to our fundraiser will help ensure we continue to serve as a reliable and accessible resources for the future generation of Central Valley scholars to come.

About Central Valley ScholarsÂ
Central Valley Scholars (CVS) is a community-based organization led by first generation, queer, Students of Color, with a mission of creating accessible pathways towards higher education for historically underserved communities in the Central Valley. CVS strategy focuses on creating critical, conscious, and realistic perspectives on higher education; with an emphasis on how systemic forms of oppression affect undeserved students' academic trajectories. CVS fosters equity by providing workshops, scholarships, mentorship (themtorship), and specialized programming for students to achieve the education they deserve.
