Kathia Osuna (She/Her)

Kathia is in her third year at UC Berkeley studying Sociology and Spanish. She hails from Fresno County where she graduated from Edison High School in 2019. Since arriving at Cal she has joined Central Valley Scholars as Events Coordinator, taught a class on the Central Valley, continued to serve as a Community Organizer in Fresno, and much more. As the daughter of immigrants and a first-generation college student, she is passionate about working to demystify institutions of higher education, expanding the narrative of who can attend these institutions, and simplifying the college application process for marginalized groups in the Central Valley.
