"BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Central Valley Scholars are assisting underserved students in the Central Valley with their college applications and more.
The non-profit organization is hosting a variety of free college application workshops featuring admissions counselors from universities such as UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Dartmouth and more. Students that attend these workshops will get direct assistance on their applications from prestigious universities around the nation, as well as a raffle $50 at every workshop to encourage participation.
The first workshop will be November 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., focusing on private and Ivy League admissions."
